Eurobasket2017 Final: Slovenia - Serbia

photo: Fiba.com

It all comes down to the last Sunday night's big final where both Slovenia and Serbia are looking to add a gratifying chapter to their basketball history.

For such a small nation Slovenia who never been tasting of any purity medals in their independent country history it's already wonderful life moment as fans are flooding Istambul. Even though Serbian's been successfull during the past championships, they could hardly remember their last fortunate Eurobasket as it was 8 years ago.

This game is a lot controversial and I honestly could describe any team as a winner here and who can't deny that they aren't...? No one expected to see Slovenians who always lacked succes during most important games or Serbians with their almost 2nd squad here in Eurobasket finals.

Should we bet here or just enjoy? Well it's really up to everyone's. But I see some value I want to try: winning margin 3 way - any other result (any team must win more than 6 points).

We are all familiar with common phrase in sports "the real final was in semi's" I would say that the real one was in quarter-final's. Slovenia vs. Latvia - the most epic game in 21st century's Eurobasket. The futurism of basketball. Slovenia vs. Spain, yes could be looking from a fan's perspective, but Spain was poor on both - energy level and shooting performance from behind the arc. Moreover Serbia plays very static, but smart, uses many plays and runs their offense positionly. Any sports enthusiast who is not very keen into game aesthetics (that's majority) would admit that Serbia vs. Italy wasn't that eye-catchy and semi's could only be exclude for Shved and Bogdanovic remarkable performances, but that wasn't anything like a final.

Why I'm talking about real final here?

Well, since basketball became much more effectively scoring game than staying behind halftime total limits it was already 1961 in Eurobasket tournament. After all there has been 27 finals played and the stats of making into 6.5 spread are curious: 22/27 (81.48%). 5 - is the number of real final games (with under 6.5 margin) that been played in last 27 Eurobasket finals. 1971, 1987, 1993, 1995, 2007.

Alternative game propositions:
Luka Doncic under 15.5 @ 1.83 Bet365 (or your local)
Goran Dragic over 21.5 @ 1.85 betsafe (or your local)

Pick option:
Any other result (Winning Margin 3-Way) @ 2.540 3/10 bet365 (by: surrealite)

Vanoli Cremona vs Milano

photo: vanolibasket.com Opened season in benedetto Italia. Hosts Cremona "The Expendables" Vanoli this season remind me a lot of old friends gang with 2013/14 season’s fresh Capo d'Orlando company in front with nobale legends Basile, Nicevic and Saragna including another charismatic flagman coach Pozzecco. They won 2nd place in Serie A2 and started Lega Basket journey. What happend they brought some youngsters and took 14th spot in upcoming 2014/15 season, but that's on a stats. What really happened they been a tough nut to crack at home while being an average performer (Top10) with 7W and 8L in league in the time beating Milano Armani during the season as well as other tenacious rivals in very small margins, usually below 5 points. What? Yes, hold on I see some parallels 2013/15 Capo d'Orlando and this years Cremona. Cremona brought some "The Expendables" of former Banco di Sassari band. Old man Drake Diener didn't forgot those...

Eurobasket2017 Group C: Hungary - Czech Republic

photo: Fiba.com Again pushing the big odds here. Czech's playing smart and on the basketball IQ level they are higher than Hungary, that's obstacle here. But... If we look deep into the squad Czech lost some uncontested front-runners Vesely and Shibb. There's still Satoransky but Hruban and Kritz ain't that guys to cover the loophole. What's more Hungarians didn't have a chance to see real star Hanga who's been the chief of the movement in 2016 qualification round (6W0L in group with Macedonia and Great Britain) averaging ~20ppg with lots of defensive presents. So far cuz of injuries in limited time he's been averaging only 6.5 ppg & 3.5 eff index. What if he finaly steps up to a gives his credits next to the Henchman Vojvoda? Another thing Hungary never had chance to play with full squad in friendly's. There was either Keller, Hanga (both 2 missed a lot from start) or Vojvoda missing that is 90% of the team. Well this one is basically for th...

Eurobasket2017 Group B: Georgia - Germany

photo: Fiba.com      Took -3 Germany @3.40, but this one became massive. Ok still value. Georgia has strong starting line-up even without questionable Tsintsadze. They played with heart last game vs. Lithuania and always been, but i hope Germans will and must take the advantage of the home support. Markoishvili isn't the best shape so is Pachulia. Shengelia is ready for the champ while Schroder is already lights out here. So despite German lacks more individual keys as Schroder, they move ball in positional offence and odds are still worth to try cosidering all the facts. Pick: Germany  -1.50 (AH) @  2.75 6/10 William Hill (by: surrealite)
